It's the Holiday season and Jason celebrates Christmas, but if you don't and instead celebrate Hanukkah or Kwanzaa or Festivus we hope you have a happy one! Consider this the Hanukkah Episode or the Kwanzaa Episode or the Festivus Episode!
This is a short episode, similar to the Thanksgiving one, and in it Jason talks to his partner in life and crime, Justina! They talk about this year's accomplishments, performances, the work that goes into developing as a performer/creator, and general nonsense.
Take stock of the year you had with your practice and performances. Yes, 2016 has been a rough year for many, not to mention a rough year for art. So many great artists won't be contributing what they have to give to the world anymore. Creatively, that leaves the rest of us with huge gaps in the world. Gaps that can only be filled with the love that only art and entertainment bring. We have work to do. It's time for us to step up and I believe we can do it!
Let's take 2017 as an opportunity to get back up, shake it off, and do some good for the world through the means we have at our disposal.
We still have so much to do. We can still grow so much. I hope the people I talk to in 2017 help you get where you want to be! Let's do this!
