Today's guest is NYC improviser and instructor, Hannah Chase!
Hannah Chase is a beloved instructor and performer at the Magnet Theater who recently stepped down as the director of the house teams known as the Megawatt Director. She and Jason have an edifying discussion about improv, teaching, directing, and her background in performance art. It's a very interesting discussion that explores the differences between art forms like dance or jazz piano and improv. Can you speak in absolutes in improv like you can with those other forms of art? How does that affect how one teaches improv? Jason and Hannah discuss all of this and more in this episode! We also find out if Jason used the word, "malleable," correctly! Let's find out together!
