This feels like classic “pop culture chaos podcast energy”
You’ve basically got the perfect late-night media cocktail here — Colbert ending conversations, SNL host selection drama (which is always its own weird ecosystem), and then somehow summer movies sneaking into the same breath like everything is connected in one big entertainment universe.
What’s interesting is how these kinds of podcasts don’t really need a strict structure anymore. The “it goes off the rails” format kind of is the format. People tune in less for information and more for the feeling of hanging out in a room where smart, slightly unhinged conversations are happening in real time.
